Halloween Parade With Christy and Brookelyn

Christy and Brookelyn were both brand new to PoleRiding for the parade. It started to rain during the lineup; not too hard but we were under dressed and it was enough to eventually soak us. Despite being unable to do any tricks until the rain stopped halfway through they definitely put on a very hot show.

New PoleRider: Brookelyn in 'da House!

Brookelyn is a true good girl gone bad. This classically American Academy trained ballerina traded in her pointe shoes for stilletos two years ago.

She took classes at Crunch gyms for a year before she began teaching pole dancing. She now teaches several classes a week a Crunch NYC where you will always find this pole diva practicing her moves and rocking out new tricks.

Brookelyn contacted the clubhouse and asked what it would take to become a PoleRider. I asked the other dancers about her and they said "she is 100% PoleRider material"...She made it through hell week and her new PoleRider tattoo is looking sweet so we are pleased to announce that she is now part of the team!

"I don't do anything small; for me it's go big or go home. I love performing and going over-the-top so PoleRiders is right up my alley-- I can't wait to PoleRide on Halloween!"

Bat-PoleRiders Kat and Ariel at Comic Con

Here is a clip from the event. Holy Bat split!

We are pleased to present our newest PoleRider Kat on the Bat pole with Ariel at Big Apple Comic-Con I met Kat with Ariel at Ricky's to pick out costumes for the gig. After, they came over to the clubhouse to work out a few new moves and figure out the logistics of pole dancing with super hero capes. It was so freakingly fantastic I completely forgot to take pictures.

Los Marcos Polo Meets PoleRiders!

PoleRiders was invited by our new friends at Los Marcos Polo to perform at the Melee. More shots here

http://www.flickr.com/photos/daytonohio/sets/72157622462866829/show/

Bike Polo is by far the coolest, most exciting 2 team/goal sport out there. It combines speed, skills, style and just the right amount of blood. For more information about NYC Bike Polo visit their site.

This was Buttercups first pole dancing performance and she really got into it! PoleRiders is most pleased to present special guest pole dancers. Royal Buttercup is the proprietor of The Ladies Room/Pole Arts Asheville in North Carolina
This guy had to be our best tipper yet.
My T-shirt is by bicycle stencil artist Janet Bike Girl I really like her work. More NYC Bike Polo pictures here and more PoleRider/polo pictures coming soon. If you have any please send them my way!

Presenting Royal Buttercup

Royal Buttercup, a pole comedian and owner of Pole Arts Asheville is PoleRiders latest guest dancer. She appeared with Ariel at The Los Marcos Melee bicycle polo event on Sunday October 11. When I first heard about Royal and her habit of pole dancing in costumes and masks on the side of the Blue Ridge Parkway near her home town of Asheville North Carolina, I immediately knew that she needed New York City and PoleRiders needed her.

If that wasn't enough, I soon discovered that Royal, seen here as one of her characters Sexy Bubby, also possesses the unique talent of being able to shoot Matzoh balls out of he vajayjay!

For more information on the event click on the picture. Also visit The Los Marcos Manifesto and NYC Bike Polo
Ariel came over to the PoleRiders clubhouse to teach Buttercup a lesson in pole dancing. Legendary blues guitarist Johnny Allen provided live music for the class. He said we could book him again anytime! This move is called sneaking under the "laser" beam or something like that.
Buttercup nail's it, Yay!
After class we checked out the Big Wheel Race in Central Park. Buttercup is riding a DK General Lee 16 which is basically an extra tiny BMX bike. Later that night, leaving Mr Rickshaw for Miss Buttercup's practice run before the show.
Shades at night are always a good idea.
