Sunset PoleRide with Ariel on TMZ!

Heading east on St Marks between shoots.

Ariel gives the thumbs up to her new Bern Helmet. Bern is the official helmet of PoleRiders.

This is pretty great. Just one reason why NYC is the best.

why on earth would you need a helmet on a trike cargo bike? ridiculous.

Actually I frequently get kicked in the head pretty hard and sometime with a sharp stiletto heel. The hard shell Bern Helmet does a great job where an ordinary thin shell cycling helmet would get torn up by the heels.

so you people are promoting helmets for strippers and pole dancers. highlighting that what many people considered to be a safe, athletic form of entertainment is actually a life-threatening activity.

i'd like to see the stats that back up your claims.

There are no stats on PoleRiding since it is a new sport. I consider it much safer than riding a bicycle or a motorcycle. We promote safe cycling and think that any cycling related activity in NYC traffic involves some risk. I provide helmets for dancers that want to use them and I think they look sexy.

Also, safe brains are totally in vogue right now.
